SKYWAY MONTE BIANCO
Cotto d’Este is proud to have participated on this important project, “Skyway Monte Bianco”, defined as the eighth wonder of the world, the pride of Italian engineering.
Cotto d’Este takes centre stage with its 14 mm thick porcelain stoneware flooring from the BUXY collection in the FLAMME’ CENDRE colour, in multiple formats that can be found throughout the stations of Pontal d’Entrèves (1,300 mt), Pavillon du Mont Fréty (2,173 mt) and Punta Helbronner (3,466 mt), in the common transit and service areas covering more than 4,500 square metres.
The Buxy collection was chosen due to its special anti-slip and frost resistance characteristics as well as the general resistance of the 14mm thick porcelain stoneware.
Skyway allows you to reach the 3500 metres of Punta Helbronner, starting from Courmayeur, in 19 minutes. The cabins are equipped with a system that allows the rotation of the cabin itself, allowing visitors to enjoy a 360-degree view of all the areas being crossed.
