MARBLE HOUSE

Marble House is a 520 sq m private villa located in the Nordelta Golf Club in Buenos Aires, one of the most exclusive luxury clubs in Argentina’s capital. This house is the result of an extraordinary architectural project by the Argentine OON Architecture firm.

A bold design and skilful use of the large available spaces are the fundamental elements of a building with a strong identity in which light volumes, covered with travertine marble that lends warmth to the house’s pure design and was the inspiration for its name, intersect in an interplay of continuous references and overlapping, defining the spaces that make up the residence: a social area, a private area and an area dedicated to services.

The villa’s volumes are enhanced and emphasized by Cotto d’Este’s ultra-thin large-format Kerlite 5plus Metal ceramic slabs. Decorated with a high-definition inkjet system and inspired by the aesthetic of metals, these slabs were used for the external façades of the residence and for several surfaces covering the luxurious interior.

In the project, which is distinguished by modern and minimal volumes, the impact of Cotto d’Este has characterized spaces and surfaces with a contemporary and sophisticated appeal, confirming the brand’s extraordinary ability to stylishly interpret the architectural challenges of the most successful firms.
