LAMBORGHINI LOGISTIC CENTER
The New Logistics Centre is a building of 8,500 square meters of covered space, 14 meters high, which extends within an area of 20,000 square meters of floor space used for the logistics flows of Lamborghini. The building combines in the best of ways, rationality in the flexibility of the used spaces imposed by Lamborghini, respect of the laws that improve environmental sustainability and a pleasant workspace.
It is around these three themes that the architectural design of the industrial building was developed and it draws on the expression of strength, character and personality of the Lamborghini style, using sharp and decisive contrasts in the geometric shapes that come together in the architectural composition of the prospects. The compositional rationality results in an essential style that personalizes in a unique manner the building, yet fits perfectly for colours, shapes and materials to the non-commercial building context.
As in Protoshop Lamborghini, the first multi-storey industrial building in Class A in Italy created in 2012, also for the cladding of the ventilated facade of this new space thin Slimtech slabs by Lea Ceramiche were used, with a thickness of 3mm and in the oversize format of 3m x 1m. 100% eco-compatible with reduction of air emissions, an efficient use of natural resources, savings on transport and packaging, reduction of scraps and waste, optimizing of energy performances, Lea Slimtech is ideal in the construction of buildings with low energy consumption. The extreme lightness (3mm thick) and the large size make it the most technically appropriate material for ventilated walls and for systems of thermal coats. The special slabs in laminated stoneware Slimtech laid horizontally with a visible anchoring system, in the large 3m x 1m format and in the “Nero Lamborghini” colour specially created by Lea Ceramiche for the Lamborghini projects, ideally fulfil multiple roles: both the aesthetic one as well as the functional and technical one.
