Headquarters Uni-Invest
A construction and civil engineering company, Uni-Invest of Budapest, seeks to convey an image of great solidity, reliability and dynamism. To help represent this mission, the Hungarian company’s headquarters have been designed with a futuristic look combined with the ability to emanate warmth and hospitality, so much so that they practically assume the appearance of a home, rather than a business complex.
The great protagonists of the project developed by architects Zoltan Bagi for the exteriors and Szilvia Karolyi for the interiors are the floor and wall coverings of 3 Panariagroup brands. Starting from the evocative ventilated façade where there are wall coverings in Kerlite (3.5 mm) by Cotto d’Este, in which the three shades used alternate harmoniously, creating an elegant and contemporary look. In the centre, standing out is the section with a dark wood-look colour Noce, part of the Forest collection, which, thanks to its large size (3x1m), integrates perfectly into this context. For the other two sections of the façade, the choice fell on the Lithos collection, also by Cotto d’Este, in the contrasting shades Carbon Soft and Moon Soft: in this case, the materiality of the stone hybridises with the aesthetics of the rarest marbles, conveying a sense of refinement and uniqueness.
Immediately at the foot of the façade, the Panaria Ceramica flooring from the Prime Stone line, in the Greige colour, expresses the ideal mélange between ancient natural stone and concrete, with a minimalist and contemporary touch, creating an ideal path between interiors and exteriors.
The Nextone series by Lea Ceramiche, on the other hand, is the protagonist both in its outdoor version with a thickness of 20 mm and Next Dark colour, and in the indoor version, with the Next White shade used on the floor with the traditional thickness of 9.5 mm. With its compactness and brightness, this stone-look porcelain stoneware offers a natural and balanced aesthetic, while also guaranteeing extraordinary technical performance. Its decisively contemporary textures convey light material effects, making environments warmer and more fluid. Also by Lea Ceramiche, the Concreto concrete-look collection, created by the designer Fabio Novembre, was chosen in the 6 mm Rust version – both in Lappata and Naturale – to cover the kitchen and for the area dedicated to a small lounge.
In the bathrooms, the charm of the Kerlite Vanity wall covering by Cotto d’Este predominates, in the antithetical Dark Brown and Bianco Luce shades, both with a particularly bright Glossy finish. A collection of ceramic surfaces that sublimates the aesthetics of the most elegant and minimal marbles, with their subtle patterns, light veins and soft chiaroscuro.
