Budapest international airport
Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport, known as Ferihegy Airport, is the largest of Hungary’s four commercial airports. Renamed in honour of the famous Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth, the international airport recently saw a significant renovation and expansion of Terminal 2, divided into zones 2A and 2B.
The ultra-thin maxi-slabs (100×300 cm; 3.5 mm) of the Kerlite Advantage Skin collection by Cotto d’Este, in the colours Chalk and Silver, were selected for the walls of Terminal 2A. Kerlite Advantage Skin by Cotto d’Este is a light, flexible, highly resistant and sustainable ceramic skin: the most accomplished synthesis of technological performance, extreme ease of installation and aesthetic richness.
The refined weaving of different textures from several natural stones of Blustyle‘s Advantage surfaces, again in Chalk and Silver (9mm; 60×60 cm), covers the floor of Terminal 2A, in stylistic continuity with the walls.
