Panariagroup Wins Multiple Awards at the 2024 Archiproducts Design Awards: Lea Ceramiche and Cotto d’Este Are Among the Winning Brands
Panariagroup, a global leader in the production of high-quality ceramic surfaces, received two major accolades at the 2024 Archiproducts Design Awards.
The ADA jury, made up of internationally renowned architects, designers, journalist, photographers, and creative directors, recognised two of the Group’s historic brands for the exceptional aesthetic and innovative value of their collections: Segni su Pigmenti by Lea Ceramiche won the Archiproducts Design Award, while Arketipo, a new collection by Cotto d’Este, received the Sustainability Award.
Panariagroup, a longstanding leader in the ceramics industry, continues to strengthen its market position, bolstered by these two prestigious awards that highlight its ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. For over 50 years, the company has stood as an example of excellence, combining technological research, cutting-edge design, and a mindful approach to resource management throughout the manufacturing process. In fact, the Group’s solutions seamlessly integrate aesthetic quality, technological performance, and environmental responsibility. This approach is further reinforced by the THINk ZERO project, through which – since 2022 – Panariagroup has made its over-sized, ultra-thin slabs carbon-neutral by fully offsetting the already low CO₂ emissions with credits that support international sustainable mobility projects.
Lea Ceramiche: Lea Ceramiche: Design Award for the Segni su Pigmenti Collection
The Segni su Pigmenti collection by Lea Ceramiche, designed by the renowned Ferruccio Laviani, was presented with the Archiproducts Design Award for its groundbreaking innovation in terms of both aesthetics and texture, as well as its ability to seamlessly blend form and function.
Segni – the evolution of the award-winning Pigmenti collection – stands out for its sophisticated tactile surfaces, enriched with raised lines and brushstrokes, bringing contemporary and dynamic designs to life on ultra-thin, 3.5 mm thick Slimtech slabs. Through meticulous stylistic research, the collection strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, with versatile applications in both residential and commercial contexts.
Cotto d’Este: Cotto d’Este: Sustainability Award for the Arketipo Collection
Arketipo, the newest collection by the premium brand Cotto d’Este, received the Sustainability Award for its committent to minimising the environmental impact of its production cycle. This achievement is also thanks to the THINk ZERO project, which includes this collection. The series, in fact, stands out not only for its unparalleled aesthetic, but also because its Kerlite 6plus option offers high-quality ultra-thin ceramic slabs that are entirely carbon-neutral and produced using an exclusive technology that significantly reduces the consumption of energy, water, and raw materials, thus responding to the growing demand for lightweight, durable, and sustainable materials that do not compromise on aesthetics or performance.
These achievements further propel Panariagroup’s growth and strengthen its position as a market leader able to respond to current environmental challenges while providing technically and aesthetically superior ceramic solutions.
