Panariagroup Included in the 2024 ADI Design Index with the Segni su Pigmenti Collection by Lea Ceramiche
The Capsule Collection Designed by Ferruccio Laviani Is in the Running for the Compasso D’Oro Award
Panariagroup, a leading multinational group in the production of outstanding ceramic surfaces, reaches an important milestone as its brand Lea Ceramiche is featured in the 2024 ADI Design Index with its Segni su Pigmenti collection. This prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional quality of production and design in Italy’s high-end design sector, celebrating their value both nationally and internationally. The acknowledgement also marks an important step toward the esteemed Compasso d’Oro, which will be awarded in June 2026.
The jury of the ADI Observatory, made up of a scientific committee of experts and esteemed professionals from the architecture and design sector, emphasised Panariagroup’s ability to present a cutting-edge product that seamlessly blends technical and aesthetic innovation.
The Segni su Pigmenti collection, a product of the collaboration with renowned architect Ferruccio Laviani, is an evolution of the award-winning Pigmenti collection, whose extensive colour palette has been enriched with textured lines and stroke-like drops, resulting in dynamic contemporary surfaces. Segni’s slabs are extraordinarily thin (just 3.5 mm) and reflect the technological research and expertise that established Panariagroup as a pioneer in the market of over-sized, ultra-thin surfaces over 20 years ago. Designed with a strong focus on sustainability, these slabs minimize the use of raw materials, water, and energy during the manufacturing process thanks to their reduced thickness, without compromising durability and quality.
Emilio Mussini, President of Panariagroup, states: “We’re extremely pleased with this latest achievement, which confirms the ongoing appreciation for Lea Ceramiche, one of our flagship brands. Our relentless focus on research, combined with increasingly ambitious and international commercial strategies – from the United States to Europe, with the recent acquisitions in Germany and Portugal – continues to strengthen our position in the global market. Recognitions such as this reinforce our commitment to pursuing aesthetic, technological, and practical excellence.”
