Excellence, innovation, and global vision: Panariagroup’s goals for Cersaie 2024

A year after its acquisitions in Germany and Portugal and the reorganization of the Panariagroup USA business unit, the Sassuolo-based group returns to the ceramic industry’s most important annual event, bringing with it new products that reflect the company’s technical expertise and vision, and an increasingly well-structured organization that extends beyond Italy as well.

 

 

Fiorano Modenese, 23 September 2024Panariagroup, an international leader in the production and distribution of high-quality ceramic surfaces, will participate in Cersaie 2024, the premier trade show for the ceramic sector, which will take place from 23 to 27 September in Bologna. This annual event is an important moment for architects, designers, and professionals to explore the industry’s latest trends and innovations.

A year after the reorganisation of its American business unit and the acquisitions of Gresart in Portugal and the most important assets of the Steuler Fliesengruppe GmbH Group (including a manufacturing facility, all of the brands of ceramic surfaces belonging to the German group, and even its sales network), Panariagroup has strengthened its leadership in the global market, expanding the distribution and sale of its own catalogue and, over the course of 2024, strengthening the position of these strategic hubs in order to develop its business both in Europe and overseas.

 

In particular, with the acquisition in Germany, Panariagroup acquired all of the brands of ceramic surfaces belonging to the German group Steuler Tile, as well as its sales network and the personnel responsible for various services, for a total revenue of €136 million in the German, Austrian, Dutch, and Swiss market. At the same time, thanks to the total acquisition of Gresart by the Portuguese business unit, Gres Panaria Portugal, Panariagroup reinforced its presence in Portugal, expanding not only its production capacity, but its commercial and distributive strength, while reaffirming its leadership as the top ceramic brand in the Portuguese market.

Fuelled by these changes, for Panariagroup the new edition of Cersaie serves as an important opportunity to not only showcase a range of new products, from ultra-thin surfaces to thick, over-sized slabs, but also to consolidate this new structure and nurture relationships in the global market. In fact, ceramic industry exports now exceed €5 billion and account for 80% of Panariagroup’s revenue.

At Cersaie 2024, in Hall 30, in the exhibition space designed by renowned international architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani, Panariagroup will present the new collections of Cotto d’Este and Blustyle, Lea Ceramiche, Panaria Ceramica, Maxa, Love Tiles, Margres, and Gresart to the market, offering a range of unique, high-quality, and prestigious solutions to meet all the demands of residential, commercial, and public architecture.
