EuroShop 2023: Panariagroup, sustainable innovation in retail

Euroshop, the most important international trade show dedicated to the world of retail, will be held in Düsseldorf from 26 February to 2 March. After the recent and very positive experience in France at Equiphotel, Panariagroup (with its Italian brands Cotto d’Este, Lea Ceramiche, Panaria Ceramica, Maxa, and Margres, the group’s Portuguese brand) aims to win over the retail professionals of Euroshop as well, who will be able to experience, first hand, the design versatility of the ceramic slabs produced by this Modena-based group. In fact, Panariagroup’s participation in Euroshop is further confirmation of the fact that it continues to take on retail challenges with business units – in this case the Contract & Key Account B.U. – that are capable of serving specific channels in the most targeted way possible.

At its sophisticated and high-impact stand, Panariagroup, with its usual and high degree of innovation, quality, and sustainability, will show visitors, designers, and architects from the sector not only wall covering and flooring products, but also decorative solutions and kitchen worktops made from ceramic.

THINk ZERO, the pioneering project thanks to which the Group offers the first and only 100% carbon neutral ultra-thin slabs on the market, will be presented to the trade show’s international attendees within the space. The project consists of highly versatile and durable laminated porcelain stoneware collections from Panariagroup’s brands, all of which represent the expression of a technology that, by revolutionising the production process, has come up with a completely sustainable solution. In fact, as compared to traditional tiles, the thickness, which has been reduced by up to 2/3, requires less consumption of raw materials (-65%), energy (-30%), and water (-80%), reduces pollution from transport (-66%), and reduces CO2 emissions (-30%) which actually become zero thanks to the overall compensation of the entire product life cycle.

The Group will also present the Easy dry lay solution, a certified and patented solution that is particularly recommended for the retail industry, given that its primary benefit is its ease of use and application and the rapidity with which it can be installed. With Easy it is possible to install large laminated porcelain slabs without the use of glues, but simply laying down a mat on which to position the slabs which are then sealed to one another with a filler for a total thickness of just 7mm. The result is an ultra-durable, stable, waterproof, and extremely lightweight surface which can be walked on immediately and is particularly ideal for display areas in temporary shops as the flooring can be installed on pre-existing floors without the need for demolition and can even be recovered at the end of its use, since no glues or adhesives have been used. Therefore, it meets the frequent renovation needs of retail spaces and stores in general perfectly.
